Medicare & Insurance
To process claims for Customers/Patients, a Supplier or a Provider must now be “Accredited” (authorized) by Medicare.
Because “Accreditation”, is an ongoingly-“time+money”-expensive process which would increase our operating-costs and the cost of our Products, and because “Speech Aid Devices (DM-19) are “harmless”, liability-wise -- LESAPA LLC has opted to not undergo the “Accreditation”-process.
WHICH is -- one of the ways we can keep Your Costs as low as possible.
Which is why -- LESAPA is not authorized by Medicare to process Claims for its Customers -- which means -- LESAPA is not authorized by Medicare to (their-term) “Accept Assignment by the Customer”.
Which means -- our Customers:
1) Pay in-full before we ship Product to them.
2) File their own Claims for reimbursement from Medicare -- or have their Physician, or Private-Insurance-Carrier Agent, or HMO file the Claim.
However -- we can and will serve as “a Usefully-knowledgeable Resource for You” -- re “Who HHS, CMS, DME-MACs, and DMEPOS are”, and “What they want from You” re the Claims-completing/-filing process.
Which means -- we, LESAPA:
1) Can, and happily will, assist You in the relatively-simple -- once you know what to do -- process of completing and filing Your Claim.
2) Have the necessary-Information, website-links, and Claims-Forms available for You, our Customer.
